How to provide glider data to operational oceanography users

Coriolis is involved in International, European and French operational oceanography projects.
To provide glider observations to these communities, you can push the data to Coriolis ftp server.

FTP server address

• ftp eftp.ifremer.fr
• Contact codac@ifremer.fr for user name and password.

Glider data submission directory structure

submit/XXX/XXX_YYYYMMDD where:

• XXX: glider name
• YYYYMMDD : deployment date of the glider

Example: deployment of milou glider on April 5th 2011

• submit/milou/milou_20110405

This directory contains all data and metadata related to a glider deployment.
This deployment may last from a day to several months.
